2 MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S MURDER

Catastroph­e Theatre Company and the Hawk’s Well Theatre present A Midsummer Night’s Murder at the Sligo Park Hotel on Wednesday 28th of June at 7.30pm. Tickets cost € 45 which includes a three course meal. Murder, revenge and pollen are in the air as the long days draw out , the nights heat up and even the hot summer sun will fail to thaw the cold heart of a murderer.

3 STARMAN AT 5TH ON TEELING

Starman come to 5th on Teeling on Saturday, July 1st. The band is made up of Jim Mars, M. Twang, Iggy Stardust and Beats Asteroid make up the band “STARMAN” who hail from the far off planet of Co. Meath. They’ve been playing music together for eight light years and have built up quite a reputation for themselves in Ireland, England, and Europe.

4 VONDA SHEPARD

Appearing for the first time in Ireland since 2004, Ally McBeal songstress, Vonda Shepard will be returning with her band for a handful of rare performanc­es and will be at the Hawk’s Well Theatre on Friday 30th of June at 8pm. 5 SELMA MAKELA

Winner of The Model Cairde Award, Selma Makela has been artist- in- residence at The Model during May and June. Based in The Model’s process room throughout this period, as part of her residency Makela will consider the formal themes of painting in the context of her own practice. Her exhibition finishes on Sunday, July 2nd.

6 MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

7 ANNA LIVIA LESBIA

Anna Livia Lesbia is a play written by Joni Crone, a Dublin woman who ‘ came out’ on the Late Late Show almost 40 years ago. Joni now lives in Leitrim and her play is currently touring with Manorhamil­ton based theatre company. She brings her show to the Hawk’s Well Theatre on July 1st.
