STRANDHILL
OUR members came out in force to play in Mr Leo Logan’s Presidents Day on Saturday 15th July. Scoring was difficult with the gusting winds in the morning and the drizzly rain in the afternoon. John White took top honours from Gertrude Crummy they both had 39 points with John having the better back nine. John was a very popular winner and he lifted the beautiful Crystal Lamp presented by Leo at the evening festivities. A great night was had by all and this was testament to the popularity of Leo during his presidency. CONGRATULATIONS to Dean McGowan who had a hole in one on the 9th hopefully the first of many Dean.
