Sensory room for Sligo hotel
A new Sensory Room - the first of its kind for an Irish hotel - has just been launched at the Clayton Hotel Sligo.
The facility is in the Kids Club area at the Club Vitae Leisure club. Multi-Sensory environments are used as a form of therapy and can assist with the development of social skills in children and adults with additional needs.
Marketing Manager Orla Seery said: “We are thrilled to be the first hotel in Ireland with a Sensory room.
“We feel it is important to offer facilities to cater for all our guests and ensure they have the most comfortable and enjoyable stay.
“At the launch of the Sensory room last Wednesday we had great support from local and national organisations and most importantly the children in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the sensory room.”
The Sensory room was designed by Mary Clarke along with our Kids Club team and maintenance Staff.
