Qashqai gets some upgrades

WITH over 50,000 units sold since launch, the Nissan Qashqai is Ireland’s bestselling crossover of all time.

2017 sees the introduction of a new upgraded Qashqai with significant enhancements which further develop its premium character.

The upgrades focus on four areas exterior design, interior quality, driving performance and New Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies.

The most dramatic enhancements to the Nissan Qashqai are to its exterior.

A new contemporary design featuring the iconic ‘V-motion’ grille can be seen along with new front bumper and front fog lamps.

Also new on the Qashqai are the ‘ boomerang’ Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) and the LED light motif which has been extended across the whole lamp at the rear.

Higher levels of interior quality now feature the new D-shaped steering wheel and redesigned seats with durable upholstered finish or a choice of highest-quality soft nappa leather, with luxurious 3D quilting.

Improved driving performance consists of calmer body motion, better impact shock, line traceability through corners and Active Return Control - meaning the steering wheel returns to center more naturally, improving precision during driving.

There are also significant improvements to noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) performance on the new Qashqai.

The additions of new Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies such as Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Intelligent Park Assist with New Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Still Assist have been added while others have been upgraded with new safety features.
