LIFE IN THE SPIRIT

MISSION

A Redemptori­st Mission will take place between September 9 and 17 across the three churches of the Dromahair, Killargue, Newtownman­or Parish. There will be daily morning Mass (Monday to Friday) in each church: Dromahair at 7 a.m. Killargue and Newtownman­or at 10 a.m.

There will be an evening service (Monday to Friday) at 8 p.m. in each of two of the churches, on a shared rotational basis. Killargue on Sunday the 10th, Monday the 11th and Tuesday the 12th; Dromahair from Monday the 11th to Friday the 15th inclusive; Newtownman­or on Thursday the 14th and Friday the 15th.

A ‘Mass with Anointing of the Sick’ will be said in Newtownman­or on Saturday, September 16, at 11 a.m., followed by morning refreshmen­ts in Newtownman­or Hall at midday.

NOVENA

The annual Novena in honour of St Therese of Lisieux takes place St Therese’s Church, Ballintogh­er, from Sunday, Septem- ber 24, to Tuesday, October 3, at 7.30 p.m. each evening. More details to follow later.

JIVING LESSONS

Jiving lessons take place in the Blue Devon on Sundays at 7 p.m. with jiving instructor­s that are Ireland Jiving Champions. It is for four weeks only. Contact Conor for further informatio­n at 086 0789686.
