Call of The Wild launch ambassador initiative

-

TO celebrate Call of the Wild turning 21 this year they’ve decided to give back to the local community by sponsoring a variety of people under the age of 21 from a diverse range of sporting and adventure backgrounds.

They put a call out to find people under the age of 21 to apply for the role of Call of the Wild Adventure Ambassador. Applicants had to submit a video in which they were asked to explain why they thought they should be named ‘Adventure Ambassador’. So what exactly is an Adventure Ambassador? An Adventure Ambassador is someone who is determined and passionate about excelling in their sporting field and is someone who has proven to be a fantastic role model for others within the community.

As a result, seven people have been chosen to wear the Adventure Ambassador jersey including;

Alex McGourty (Pro Kayaker), Adam Connolly (Surfer), Carrie McDaid(Swimmer), Fionn McCarthur (Adventurer/Calisthenics, Joseph Mooney (Swimmer/ European Medalist), Lauren Donaghy (Sailor) and Mona McSharry(Swimmer, World Medalist).

Follow their journey over the next few months as they negotiate tough challenges and continue to smash their personal goals!
