REDEMPTORIST MISSION
The Redemptorist Mission continues to the end of this week, Sunday, September 17, across the three churches of the Dromahair, Killargue, Newtownmanor Parish.
Early Morning Mass in Dromahair at 7 a.m. (Wednesday to Friday); Morning Mass in Killargue and Newtownmanor at 10 a.m. (Wednesday to Friday). An Evening Mission Penitential Service tonight, Wednesday the 13th at 8 p.m., in Dromahair (for the whole parish); tomorrow in Dromahair, Thursday the 14th at 8 p.m. And on Friday the 15th, in Dromahair, at 7 p.m.
An Evening Mission Service in Newtownmanor tomorrow, Thursday the 14th at 8 p.m. and on Friday the 15th in Newtownmanor at 8.30 p.m. Mass with Anointing of the sick and Elderly (for the whole parish) in Newtownmanor on Saturday morning, September 16, at 11 a.m.; followed by light refreshments (tea or coffee, etc) in Newtownmanor Hall at 12-00 midday.
The Mission will close in each church with the liturgy for the 24th Sunday of the Year; Killargue at 8 p.m. on Saturday the 16th; Newtownmanor at 10 a.m. on Sunday the 17th and Dromahair at 11.15 a.m. on Sunday the 17th; each with Special Blessing of parents and Young Children. Mission leaflets, containing all the details, are available in the three churches and in several other public settings.
CALLING ALL BAKERS
If you are able to assist in the provision of any light refreshments (Scones, Fairy Cakes, Biscuits, etc) for the social gathering in Newtownmanor Hall, this Saturday, September 16, at midday, following the Mass at Newtownmanor Church at 11 a.m., then your contribution will be gratefully accepted. All contributions can be delivered to the hall, either directly before or immediately after Mass on Saturday, September 16. Thanking you in anticipation.
BUS TO KNOCK
There will be a bus to Knock Shrine on Sunday, October 1 (Rosary Sunday) from the Newtownmanor/Manorhamilton area. Pick up will be at the Bee Park at 10 a.m. on October 1. If you are interested in participating please contact Anne Dolan on Mob: 086 2242828.
HALL BOOKINGS
Newtownmanor Hall is available for booking, by adult groups, wishing to organise an event or training. Hall costs are €15 per hour.
