Leann joins the Aurivo team
Aurivo, the globally-focused Agribusiness which is headquartered in Sligo has announced the appointment of Leann Watters to its Leadership Development Programme.
Leann, a Rosses Point native, who holds a degree in Food Marketing and Entrepreneurship from UCC, is embarking on a two-year programme for ambitious graduates who wish to develop their commercial skills and accelerate their careers. As one of three candidates to participate in the paid programme, Leann will benefit from a range of diverse work experience opportunities across many of Aurivo’s 41 sites, with six-month rotations across each of Aurivo’s four business units - agri-business, consumer foods, dairy ingredients and livestock sales. Leann’s first rotation is in Aurivo’s sports nutrition business unit, My Goodness Ltd, in London.
Lydia Mahon, Head of HR at Aurivo said: “We’re delighted to welcome Leann back on board after she spent her six month university placement in our consumer foods business last year. The programme exposes commercially-minded graduates who have an appetite for innovation to a range of cross-functional projects and challenges that will hone their skills and bolster their career prospects.”
Leann said: “I am very excited to participate in Aurivo’s Leadership Development Programme, which I am confident will help me identify my core strengths and improve the areas in which I have an opportunity to learn more. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to work with Aurivo’s innovative sports nutrition team in London and I’m looking forward to the diverse experiences across the four business units.”
