THE Stonepark War­rior Chal­lenge in aid of Stop Sui­cide was held on Sun­day in Cloon­loo and the an­nual event was an­other great suc­cess.

Or­gan­is­ers said they were de­lighted with the turnout and so far the amount raised is more than €2,000 with more spon­sor­ship cards to be col­lected.

The event, which in­cluded a 30k cy­cle and a 8km run/walk was held on Sun­day morn­ing and con­di­tions were chilly but bright.

The Stonepark War­rior Chal­lenge raises money for Stop Sui­cide and also other lo­cal char­i­ties in the area.

Or­gan­is­ers thanked ev­ery­one who helped out in any way and those who took part, say­ing that with­out them the event would not be pos­si­ble.

1st Ladies Run­ner - joint - Pauline Gor­man and Rachel Martens 42.15

1st Male Run­ner - joint - Noel Scally and Ger­ard Sheerin 34.54

1st Ladies Cy­clist - Ais­ling Gaugh­ran 01.14

1st Male Cy­clist - Martin Neary 58.20

1st Ladies Duathlon - Ann Wynne - 01.40

1st Male Duathlon Paul Lit­tle - 01:20.01.

It was Paul’s fifth year run­ning and he set a record time.
