COUNTRY MARKET

Drummartin Country Market (9km out the Ballina road from Tubbercurr­y, on right besides Joe Dan’s Pub) is open every Saturday, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. They have a couple of exciting workshops coming up for the next couple of Saturdays, firstly on November 18 Christmas cards and on November 25 making decoration­s with wicker hoops all to prepare for the festive season.

Come along and join in the festivitie­s at Drummartin Country Market on Saturday and see their range of home baked goods, free range eggs, organic dexter beef, organic lamb and organic vegetables by Crimlin Farm, plants, woodturned products, baskets and many other crafts from knitted to printed. COMPUTER CLASSES

Basic Computer classes will begin on Tuesday, November 14, from 4.15 p.m. to 6.15 p.m. at St Attracta’s CS, Tubbercurr­y – places are very limited. Classes are for total beginners and are free. Classes run for five Tuesdays. Pre-booking essential: 071 9120814 or email mroddy@stattracta­s.ie.

The team appeals to all Businesses to promote the raffle and encourage maximum sales. The annual running costs of the lights is approx. €5,000 and we are this year faced with an additional cost of installing a new infrastruc­ture/ upgrading system to accommodat­e the lights to a RECI approved standard.

The erection of the lights commenced Tuesday, November 7, in Boyle and again we appeal to anyone, especially Boyle business owners who can lend a hand for a couple of hours. If you’d like to get involved please call Dara at 086 4066976.

The scheduled nights over the next 10 days are this evening (Wednesday the eighth) at 6.30 p.m. at the Crescent and Tuesday and Wednesday, November 14 and 15. It takes approximat­ely 500 voluntary man hours to erect and take down the lights, thus help would greatly be appreciate­d.

ZOMBIE OUTBREAK
