Amazing Grace is a catch phrase often applied to Brendan Grace and indeed very true in many respects. The much loved family comedian is celebrating 44 Years in the comedy business and is now more popular than at any time in his career to date.

3 VOICE WORKSHOP
The Blue Raincoat Theatre plays host to a voice workshop with David Goldsworthy at the Factory Performance Space from January 15th-19th. Voice Training and Development are explored through the methodologies and techniques of the Roy Hart International Voice Centre, France. Senior Teacher at the Roy Hart International Voice Centre. The fee for participation in this workshop is €250.
4 DRAMA AT THE WELL
This fun and engaging drama course with experienced tutor Deirdre Gaule will encourage young children to act and participate in many different activities specially designed to explore creativity and build confidence. Each child gets the individual attention they need. Limited availability. Starting on Thursday, January 11th, the workshop continues until 22nd March at the Hawk’s Well.
5 CARA RUN WORKSHOP
In anticipation of the 2018 Cara Run, G4Fitness have put together a workshop for those looking to break through the barrier and perform at a level they’ve never reached before. The workshop is to be held on Saturday January 13th in Grange Co. Sligo. The 2-hour event will be part presentation part practical.

Twenty-five years after the smash success of duo Frances Black and Kieran Goss, the Hawk’s Well Theatre welcomes back this duo as part of their nationwide Reunion Tour in 2018 on January 14. Tickets are €28.
7 THE DRUMMER & THE KEEPER
The Glens Centre, Manorhamilton presents ‘The Drummer & The Keeper’ on January 12th. THE DRUMMER & THE KEEPER tells the story of the unlikely
friendship formed between two young men; Gabriel, a reckless young drummer with bipolar disorder, who revels in rejecting society’s rules and Christopher, a 17 year old with Asperger’s Syndrome, who yearns to fit in. This film screening is part of the annual First Fortnight Festival. First Fortnight is a charity that challenges mental health prejudice through arts and cultural action.

Skreen/Dromard Drama Group present ‘For Better, For Worse’ at the Skreen/Dromard Community Centre from January 12th-14th. Farmer Gabriel Foley is newly married. His wife, Chrissie is stressed and unhappy as things are not going well for the couple in and out of the bedroom.
10 BEETHOVEN AND THE LADIES
A concert devoted mainly to Beethoven’s string quartets, RTÉ Contempo Quartet also pays homage to two female Irish composers - Jane O’Leary and Ina Boyle at The Model on Sunday, January 14th at 3pm. Admission is €20, €10 for students.
