ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

Preparatio­ns are now well under way for the Ballymote St Patrick’s Day parade on Friday, March 17, at 3.30 p.m. A large number of entrants including marching bands have already confirmed participat­ion in this year’s parade. Any groups, individual­s, businesses etc who wish to participat­e in our parade please contact. any of the following committee members Pádraig Healy, Gerry Gormley, Liam Rafferty, Pat Mcgrath, Declan Healy, Eamon Scanlon, Francie Corcoran, Alan Stafford.

Following the success of previous parades in Ballymote we look forward to a bigger and better parade this year. We thank you all for your support in the past and we welcome you all to join in the fun on the day. Next meeting will take place on Thursday next, February 15, at 9.30 p.m. in Gormley’s pub.

GAA MONSTER AUCTION

Ballymote GAA Club will be holding a monster auction on Sunday, March 4, in the Loftus Hall Ballymote. More details to follow.

DRAMA GROUP

Skreen-Dromard Drama Group are taking to the stage in the Art Deco Theatre Ballymote on February 17 at 8 p.m. doors open 7.30 with their hilarious comedy ‘For Better, For Worse’ by the renowned playwrite Jimmy Keary. The Proceeds of the raffle on the night will be given to Cancer Care Tubbercurr­y. your support would be appreciate­d.
