WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

Women’s World Day of Prayer for the Riverstown Ladies will be held this year in St Brigid’s Church, Corhawnagh, Ballisodare on Friday, March 2, at 7.30 p.m. Support from this area would be much appreciated.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Riverstown Community Games swimming will take place in Sligo Sports Complex at on Saturday, March 3, at 6 p.m. Swimmers should be pool-side at 5.45 p.m. For further information call 086 8258525.

STRICTLY QUIZ

A table quiz Night in aid of Coola Strictly Come Dancing for Team Meabh McDermott and Karl McKenna will take place in Tommy Mac’s Bar, Riverstown on Saturday, March 3, at 9 p.m. Raffle on the night.

COME DANCING BAKE SALE

A Bake, book and Toy Sale will be held in Riverstown Hall on Saturday, March 3, at 8.30 p.m. The proceeds of this sale are supporting Conal McCormack and Chloe Merrick in the Coola Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday, April 1. This event is raising funds for a new Astro Sports Pitch at Coola Post Primary School.

25 CARD DRIVE

A 25 Card Drive in Aid of the astroturf Pitch Development will take place on Saturday, March 10, in McDermott’s Bar, Castlebaldwin. Event starts at 9 p.m. Sharp (Single Hands). Entry Fee €10.

RECYCLING WORKSHOP

A joint Recycling event will take place in the Cooper Memorial Hall, Riverstown for Mother’s Union and ICA members and friends on Monday, March 12, at 8 p.m. Recycling Ambassador Imelda Ryan-Jones will deliver an interactive workshop on recycling. We look forward to seeing you on the night. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Everyone welcome.

DINNER DANCE

Shamrock Gaels will be holding their 2018 Club dinner dance in the Clayton Hotel on Friday, April 6, at which medals will be presented to the under-21 Championship winning team.
