WOMEN’S GROUP

Killenummery Women’s group are hosting ‘Exercise with Sue’ on Thursday nights in Killenummery Community hall at 7 p.m. Come along and go at your own pace. We have got some funding from ETB which means we can run class at €30 for six nights to be paid on first night. Local Link – Killargue to Carrick on Shannon (Return): Service runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Departs Killargue (car park) at 9.25 a.m. Dromahair (Centra) at 9.35 a.m. Arrives in Carrick on Shannon (Bus Stop) at 10.50 a.m. Departs Carrick on Shannon (Bus Stop) at 1.20 p.m. – Dromahair at 2.45 p.m. – Killargue at 2.50 p.m.

Dromahair to Sligo on Fridays: 10.10 a.m. at McGoldricks arrive in Sligo 10.45. Returns at 13.00 to arrive Dromahair at 13.30.

WOMEN’S GROUP

A six-week ladies fitness class starts on Thursday, March 1, at 8.30 p.m. in Drumkeerin ball alley. It’s €25 for six weeks with all proceeds going towards the ‘Lisa Cullen and baby Kayden fund’ the class will cater for the complete beginner to the more advanced all ages catered for also.

GRÚPA OIDHREACHTA

An Grúpa Oidhreachta is planning an exciting event for Heritage Day in August. To mark the European Year of Cultural Heritage we are working on the theme of ‘Make a Connection’. We are drawing on the French, German and English influences in the history of Dromahair and its environs.
