BOIL WATER NOTICE
A Boil Water Notice is still in place in the Ballinacarrow and surrounding areas till further notice, this is due to the detection of Cryptosporidium in the Lough Talt Regional Water Supply Scheme. This is expected to last for a number of weeks.
FORÓIGE CLUB

VINTAGE RUN
Dust off those cobwebs, the Tractor, Motorbike and Vintage Car run will take place in Ballinacarrow on Sunday, March 11. Registration is from 11 a.m. with a start time of 12. Drivers prize along with other prizes on the day. Refreshments will be served.
THE LATE CONNIE NEVIN
It was with sadness that the community learned of the death of Connie Nevin, UK and formerly of Rathbaun. Connie was brother of Marian, Patsy, Joe and Liam. His funeral Mass took place in Ballinacarrow on Thursday last with burial following to Kilvarnet Cemetery. May he Rest In Peace.
OWENMORE GAELS LOTTO
The Owenmore Gaels lotto draw took place in Connolly’s Bar on Monday, February 19. The numbers drawn were 5, 16, 26 and 32. There was no winner of the €8,500 jackpot. Congratulations to our match-three winners Christina Collins and Mick Gallagher Senior, who get €50 each. As there was no jackpot winner this week, the jackpot rolls over to €8,600. The next draw will take place on Monday, March 5, in Cullen’s Bar. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets throughout the year and continues to support the club.
