A ceili will be held in Ballintogh­er Hall, on Friday, March 9. Music by Duntally Ceili Band from 9.30 p.m. onwards. Refreshmen­ts will be served on the night.

RUGBY STAR

Well done and congratula­tions to Aoife McDermott on her first Rugby Internatio­nal cap at the weekend. This is a great achievemen­t for Aoife doing her family and the whole community proud as she continues to put Riverstown firmly on the map.

Qualifiers will go on to compete in the County Finals in Ballymote on Saturday, March 24 at 10.30 a.m.

25 CARD DRIVE

A 25 Card Drive in Aid of the astroturf Pitch Developmen­t will take place on Saturday, March 10, in McDermott’s Bar, Castlebald­win. Event starts at 9 p.m. Sharp (Single Hands). Entry Fee €10.

RECYCLING WORKSHOP

A joint Recycling event will take place in the Cooper Memorial Hall, Riverstown for Mother’s Union and ICA members and friends on Monday, March 12, at 8 p.m. Recycling Ambassador Imelda Ryan-Jones will deliver an interactiv­e workshop on recycling. We look forward to seeing you on the night. Refreshmen­ts will be served afterwards. Everyone welcome.

DINNER DANCE

Shamrock Gaels will be holding their 2018 dinner dance club’s in the Clayton Hotel on Friday, April 6, at which medals will be presented to the under-21 Championsh­ip winning team. Reserve the date in your diary.
