LOTTO DRAW

The Geevagh Community Resource lotto draw was held in Shivnan’s Bar on Saturday, February 24, for a jackpot of €1,900. The numbers drawn were 6, 9, 13 and 29. There was no winner. The next draw for a jackpot of €2,000 will be held on Saturday, March 3, in Conlon’s Bar. The winners of the €20 prizes were Conor ‘Pretzel’ Clarke, Geevagh; John McDonagh, Geevagh; Brid Cunnane, Geevagh; Mary and girls, c/o Shivnan’s and Maura Conlon, Flagfield.

GLEANN ICA

The guild are hosting two Mindfulness Workshops on Saturday, March 10, and Saturday, March 24, in Castle Dargan Hotel, Ballygawley from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. These workshops will focus on slowdown and de – stress and are open to everyone at a nominal cost €5. The Instructor is Theresa Kearney.

On Saturday, March 10, the Federation Irish Night takes place in Morrison Teach Ceoil, Riverstown at 9 p.m. admission €10.

The next Gleann ICA Guild meeting takes place on Tuesday, March 13, at 8 p.m., new members always welcome. Monday, March 26, there is an Easter Flower Arranging with Angela East in Gleann Hall at 8 p.m.
