Writers on tour

Gerr y Boland and Jessamine O’Connor come to Sligo as part of their tour. They will be in Carrick-On-Shannon librar y on March 12th, Roscommon Librar y on Monday April 9th and Sligo Central LIbrar y on Monday, May 14th. Go along and hear Gerr y read from his new short stor y collec tion, ‘The Far Side of Happiness’ and Jessamine from her latest book of poems ‘PACT’. Jessamine and Gerr y will talk candidly about what writing means to them, the challenges and opportunities they face as emerging writers on the crowded publishing scene, their writing routines and much more. Audience participation will be encouraged, so bring along your literar y questions. Entr y to all book tour events is free, but spaces are limited so booking is advisable. All events are free.
