COMMUNITY GAMES
Well done to all the children who took part in the Community Games model-making competition held recently in Sooey Community Hall. The results are: U10 Girls 1st Katie Gilligan, 2nd Lilia Williams, 3rd Luaithe McTiernan and Penny Barlow. U12 Girls 1st Maebh Harte, 2nd Ciara Gilligan, 3rd Marisa Hamilton. In the U10 Boys 1st Dillon Barrett. U14 Boys 1st Keelan Murphy, 2nd Evan Murphy. Qualifiers will go on to compete in the County Finals in Ballymote NS on Saturday, March 24 at 10.30am. Community Games Athletics will take place on Sunday, April 29 in Riverstown Community Park.

HEALTHY IRELAND
To celebrate ‘Healthy Ireland at Your Local Library’ which is being promoted by the Department of health in association with Libraries Ireland, Dromahair Library is hosting a talk by Ms Ann Gannon, Nutritional Therapist, entitled Better Health Tips – Nutrition for Body and Mind.
This information evening will take place in the Depot (opposite Dromahair Library) to facilitate a large crowd. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 20, starting at 7 p.m. and is open to all in the community, including parents, young adults, teenagers, senior citizens etc.
DINNER DANCE
Shamrock Gaels will be holding their 2018 dinner dance in the Clayton Hotel on Friday, April 6, at which medals will be presented to the under-21 Championship winning team. Reserve the date in your diary.
