ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

final preparatio­ns are under way for the Ballymote St Patrick’s Day parade on March 17 at 3.30 p.m., with over 50 entrants and two marching bands this promises to be a great family day out.

The final meeting of the Parade Committee will take place in Gormley’s Corner House at 9.30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15.

We are still accepting entrants to the parade, please contact a member of the committee for more informatio­n, committee members – Pádraig Healy, Gerry Gormley, Liam Rafferty, Pat Mcgrath, Declan Healy, Eamon Scanlon, Francie Corcoran, Alan Stafford. Thank you for your support.

Congratula­tions to the parents of Emma Mary Quinn, Carnaree, who was baptised recently in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote.
