CLEAN-UP

Many members of the community, both young and old, from Lurganboy and its surrounds participated in the recent annual Lurganboy Development Association organised clean-up of the village area and the connecting roads that lead to the village.

Sadly to say a massive amount of litter was picked up by the clean-up participants during the approximately one-and-half hours when the event was taking place.

Unfortunately irresponsible littering and dumping is still taking place in the scenic Lurganboy area like is currently happening in too many other parts of the county and indeed countrywide.

After the clean-up was finished the participants came together in the Lurganboy Chapel of Ease for greatly appreciated refreshments that were very kindly provided by local church members.

The Lurganboy Development Association expresses sincere gratitude to the local church members for providing the refreshments on Good Friday and the association would to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the annual clean-up.
