VILLAGE REDEVELOPMENT AGM

The Collooney Village Redevelopment Ltd AGM otakes place on Tuesday, April 17, at 8 p.m. in Teeling Centre.

COUCH TO 5K

Collooney couch to 5k has started at Owenmore Gaels pitch each Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. Beginners and intermediate. If you missed out on the start of this term contact Annette Fagan for details of the next term at 087 2480447.

HANDBALL

Handball coaching at the Handball Alley, Collooney has been changed from Tuesdays to Mondays and Fridays 6.30 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. All boys and girls aged eight years and older are welcome.

YOUNG EXPLORERS

Young Explorers School Age Childcare are looking to provide a preschool service starting in September 2018. This will become possible if the required minimum number of children are met. If your child was born on or before December 31, 2015, and you are interested in enrolling your child for a preschool service, we will be hoping to offer a free preschool service along with an option of full day care. CONFIRMATION

Fifth and sixth class pupils at Scoil Mhuire agus Iosaf, Collooney and St Lassara’s NS, Ballinacarrow will receive the sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday, April 28. Mass at 11 a.m.

PARISH HALL

Boxercise and TRX classes continue every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in collooney Parish Hall. Collooney Kickboxing Club classes every Monday and Friday in the Parish Hall. New members welcome.

Basic Computers: Tuesday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Teeling Centre. Five x 2hr courses €25. Learn to use internet – small classes – individual tuition – Anyone can learn.
