PRESIDENT’S VISIT

Congratulations to eight senior pupils of Scoil Mhuire agus Iosaf, who played music for the President Michael D Higgins on Friday the 20th during his visit to Ballisodare.

This was a great privilege for Alison Butler, Kyle McLoughlin, Xena Morgan, Jessica O’Connell, Marta Sorokhan, Aisling Walsh, Katelyn White and Gwyneth Willis. All are very talented musicians. Also past pupil of Scoil Mhuire Chloe O’Beirne played the National Anthem for the ceremony solo and the staff and pupils at the school are extremely proud of all of them.

VILLAGE REDEVELOPMENT

Collooney Village Redevelopment Ltd lotto results 11 april. Numbers drawn were 9, 10, 13 and 22. No winner jackpot and no correct. Three winners of €25 each to Pádraig carty, Catherine collery, Bernie taheny and Nancy flaherty. Next draw for €10,000 takes place in Cullen’s pub on April 25.

Computers – Computer courses continue at the Teeling Centre fullltime 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Basic course for beginners Tuesdays 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for six weeks €25.

Weight Watchers – Every Friday 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

Zumba – Every Wednesday 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Fitness Class – Every Mon/ Tues/Wed/Thursday 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Classes well attended by male and female.

Volleyball – Every Friday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Additional players required.

Breast Check – The Teeling Centre has granted permission for locating this facility on site.

Drawing Class – Every Tuesday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. come along – bring a friend.
