Sligo Players dominate Connacht in Ulster Bank League Awards
The Ulster Bank League Awards return to the Aviva Stadium this week for their annual end of season showcase to recognise the outstanding club talent throughout all five divisions of the league.
The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday, May 17th, and will celebrate the local heroes who line out for their clubs across the country.
Sligo R.F.C. players Manu Parkin and Shane Boyle have both been nominated for the Ulster Bank League Division 2C Player of the Year as well as the Ulster Bank Provincial Player of the Year.
The latter award is across all divisions and comes down to a public vote.

Last year Sligo prop Kuba Wojtkowicz left the Aviva Stadium celebrating a double win as he picked up the Ulster Bank Provincial Player of the Year for Connacht title, along with the Division 2C Player of the Year award.
Day at the Races
Sligo Rugby Club will host a day at the races on Tuesday, 22nd May at the Sligo Races.
Race goers, with a valid ticket bought through the club, will have the Cleveragh Room at their disposal and finger food will be available.
Punters will have the opportunity to meet members of the senior team, who have been promoted to Division 2B of the Ulster Bank All-Ireland League and there may be special guests from the Connacht Rugby team.
Tickets are €20 and are available from The Record Room. Connacht Rugby Summer Camps The rugby summer camp will take place this year from 2nd - 6th July in Hamilton Park, under the direction of the 2018 Connacht Senior Coach of the Year, Ross Mannion.
