OLD FAIR DAY

Manorhamilton will certainly be buzzing on this Sunday afternoon after the town’s second annual Old Fair Day events get under way at 2 p.m. at the castle.

The North Leitrim Men’s Group is organising an excellent programme of events for the Old Fair Day celebration that will keep everyone entertained for the whole afternoon. There will be live music for everyone from 2 p.m. till 6 p.m. as part of the Old Fair Day events on the Fairgreen, just outside the historic Castle’s walls.

Among the performers that will be in action on Sunday are the North Leitrim Men’s Group Band, the award winning dancers from Tahany Academy of dancing, the highly popular local band ‘The Mullies Crowd’ and the local traditional Irish musicians group. The Old Fair Day events will also include an entertaining and animated live drama presentation plus different craft demonstrations, as well as market stalls where everyone can stop for awhile to check out what is on offer.
