The OsKaRs is a major fund-raising drive for the development of Kilcoyne Park, home of Tubbercurry GAA.
Tubbercurry GAA was established in 1888 with Kilcoyne Park officially opening in 1964.
Since then it has been graced by Sligo’s and Connacht’s finest GAA stars. With club teams ranging from U6 to Senior, the grounds have felt the toll over the years and the board feel now is the right time to give it a major face-lift.
In 2017 the members applied for sports funding and to every- one’s delight secured it.
Unfortunately, this was not going to be enough to finance the major improvements that are needed so the idea of “A Night at the OsKaRs” was born.
This has been very successful for clubs throughout the country and Tubbercurry GAA club is very thankful for the support the wider community have provided for this fundraiser.
They are delighted the grounds are used by various organisation in Tubbercurry and wish Kilcoyne Park to serve the GAA and wider South Sligo community into the future.
