St Farnans/ St Patricks added three points and a goal from Cahan Hallinan levelled matters after twelve minutes, St Farnans/St Patricks 1-13, Tubbercurr­y/Cloonacool 2-10. A second goal from Jack Clarke gave St Farnans/St Patricks a two point lead. With fifteen minutes remaining it was Tubbercurr­y/ Cloonacool who finished the stronger adding three goals to their tally. St Farnans/St Patricks had chances but couldn’t finish. Goals win matches and this was the case for Tubbercurr­y/Cloonacool. Both sides gave everything in this game and it was enjoyed by all. Riain Moylan was superb for Tubbercurr­y/Cloonacool and forward Conor Matthews posed a lot of problems for St Farnans/St Patricks’ defence. Niall Murphy was excellent in midfield and Oisín O’Donnell did very well. St Farnans/St Patricks had good performanc­es from Cahan Hallinan, Jim Davis, Conor Keaveney and Jack Clarke in attack and David Hallinan in defence. The cup was presented to captain Niall Murphy by Pat Conway who commended both teams on a great display.
