Tourlestrane sitting top
AFTER the latest round of League action, Sligo champions Tourlestrane are sitting top of the Fureys Coaches Senior Football Division 1 table.
After 7 rounds, Eamonn O’Hara/ Gerry McGowan’s men have won six and currently have 13 points after being undefeated and drawing one game.
In second place is Coolaney/ Mullinabreena who have won 5 of their games and have lost and drawn one too.
St Mary’s, who welcomed Tourlestrane to Kent Park on Sunday morning are now in third place.
They have also won 5 of their games and lost two.
In fourth place it’s Shamrock Gaels, who have won 4 and lost 3.
St Molaise Gaels follow in fifth place with 3 wins so far for the Grange outfit in the League.
Coolera/Strandhill lie in 6th place, with Drumcliffe/Rosses Point 7th, Tubbercurry 8th, Curry 9th and Eastern Harps 10th.
In the Fureys Coaches Division 2 table, the current leaders are Calry/St Joseph’s.
Their form has seen them win 6 out of their 7 games so far, with one defeat.
West Sligo outfit Easkey are following closeby in 2nd position.
The Sea Blues have been impressing in the League, winning 5 games so far, with one drawn game and one defeat.
Geevagh are not far behind in 3rd position. The East Sligo outfit have also won 5 of their games so far with one loss. They are followed by Castleconnor in 4th, Enniscrone/Kilglass in 5th, Bunninadden 6th, St John’s 7th, St Patrick’s 8th, St Farnan’s 9th and St Michael’s 10th.
In the Division 3 standings, Ballymote Round Towers are currently leading, with Owenmore Gaels 2nd, Curry 3rd, Eastern Harps 4th, Cloonacool 5th, Tourlestrane 6th, Shamrock Gaels 7th and St Mary’s 8th. In Division 4, it’s Coolaney/ Mullinabreena on top, with St Molaise Gaels 2nd, Drumcliffe/Rosses Point 3rd, St Farnan’s 4th, Castleconnor 5th, Easkey 6th, Owenmore Gaels 7th, Coolera/Strandhill 8th and Calry/St Joseph’s 9th.
