Congratulations to all the young musicians from the parish who participated and had great success in the Sligo Fleadh recently. Well done to Michael Gorman, Sinéad and Conor Johnston, Aoife Johnston and Hannah and Ciara Lee. We wish them all the best for the Connacht Fleadh in Ballinamore in July.
WEDDING BELLS
Congratulations to Andrea Gallagher, Ballinvalley and Diarmuid Dunne, Tourlestrane, who were married recently in Pisa Italy. We wish them a lifetime of happiness.
PHOTO/HISTORY EXHIBITION
The local committee are planning another photo and history exhibition later in the summer following on from the huge success of the 2017 event. All photos relating to the parish from community events, church events, sport, workplace, schools, people, locations etc are all welcome.

MINI-MARATHON
The friends of Mary Teresa Armstrong (Lee) completed the Women’s Mini Marathon recently to raise whatever funds they can for Mary Teresa and her family to put towards her hospital treatment options and helping to make her good days even better days. PETITION
There is a petition currently doing the rounds to highlight the serious issue of the deterioration of Court Abbey. It’s is hoped all locals will sign it.
WALKING/RUNNING TRACK
The newly completed walking/ running track at Nace O’Dowd Park is proving a real success with many folk using it on a daily basis. It is contributing hugely to the health and well-being of our community in a real and sustainable way. The club is currently investigating means to fund the installation of lighting for the track.
BLUE KIDZ
Coolaney-Mullinabreena GAA Coaching continues for the under-six, under-eight and under-10 age groups every Saturday in Nace O’Dowd Park for the month of June. New children are always welcome to join the fun filled sessions supervised by our fully trained coaches. Contact Gerry Lee at 086 8282263 for more details. Registration is now due for all players. GAA LOTTO
The Coolaney-Mullinabreena GAA 2018 lotto is the principal fundraiser for the day to day running of the club and your continued support is greatly appreciated. The jackpot now stands at €5,800.
