Sligo BID profit
Sligo Business Improvement District ( BID) reported a pre-tax surplus of 1,655 for the Financial Year ended 31st March 2018.
It received 362,080 from the BID l ev y, 7,000 from “other income/ sponsorship, 30,000 from the Council for Christmas lights and 1,500 in rent.
Sligo BID spent over 150,000 on events, festivals and existing town initiati ves, over 18,000 on brand development and marketing, almost
10,000 on business attraction project/ trade fairs,¤ 14,000 on rent and 78,000 on project management, among other expenses.
Sligo BID was voted in for a period of fi ve years, until 2021 and is chaired by Finbarr Filan.
