Rovers draw Longford in FAI Cup

SLIGO Rovers will face Longford Town in the first round of this year’s Daily Mail FAI Cup after the draw was made on Wednesday.

The Bit O’Red will take on ‘the Town’ for the second year running. The tie is due to take place at the Showgrounds on the weekend of August 12th.

Ger Lyttle’s men were knocked out of last year’s competition by the same opposition.
