SUNFLOWER DAY

Ballymote North West Hospice Committee held its annual Sunflower Day on Friday, June 8, and it was a great success. A big thank you to our wonderful band of collectors, to all those who came out on the day and supported us and to those who may have given generous donations on the day. Last but not least thank you to all the business outlets who allowed us the space to fundraise for this wonderful cause. €2,663.00 was the amount raised for our Hospice Fund.

COMMUNITY PARKS

Unfortunately many dog owners that are using the grounds for walks, are not keeping their dogs on a leash and not cleaning up after them. This has become a major health and safety problem. If this trend continues Ballymote Community Parks will have no option, but to ban all dogs from the grounds.
