Congratulations to all our competitors who took part in the county finals recently in Sligo. We had two medal winners Liam Higgins got bronze in the under-12 600m and Eimear Connolly got silver in the under-16 200m.Congratulations to them both.

VIGIL MASS TIME CHANGE

On Saturday, July 28, the Vigil Mass in St Kevin’s Church Keash will take place at the later time of 9 p.m. This is to accommodate King of the Hill Run/Walk.

KING OF THE HILL 10K

On Saturday, July 28, our annual King of the Hill run/walk takes place. Its for over-16s only. Registration opens at 6.30 p.m. at the Foxes Den. Race commences at 7.30 p.m. Entrance Fees: €15 for runners/€5 for walkers

RECENT BAPTISM

Congratulations to the Brehony family on the recent baptism of Shona Maureen Brehony, Daughloonagh, who was baptised on Sunday, June 17, last in St Kevin’s Church, Keash. Shona is the daughter of her Michelle and Seán Brehony.

RECENT DEATHS

Sympathy is expressed to the families of Dermot McDermott, London and formerly of Frenchpark (uncle of Sharon Brennan, Greenane and Hilda McDermott) and also Jim Boland of Charlestown and late of Bunninadden (nephew of the late Peter James Scanlon, Daughloonagh).
