Lotto raises funds for community nursing unit’s refurbishment
By supporting the Ballymote Community Nursing Unit’s local lotto, you can help the refurbishment of the community’s nursing home. Ballymote Community Nursing Home was built originally in 1985 and extended in 1995.
A new block is now being added to the nursing home.
The nursing home is owned by the HSE and is managed by Nazareth House, Nazareth Care Ireland and they are currently fundraising to improve and refurbish the building to a high standard.
By helping to support the local lotto you are helping the nursing unit to realise their dreams to develop a beautiful home for their current residents and future generations of the people of Ballymote.
Ballymote Community Nursing Home has started building its new extension and will shortly become a home to accommodate 32 people. “It’ ll be a lovely building when it’s finished. It’s great to see the work started,” says Manager Linda Hannon.
The jackpot is growing every week and is now over €6,000.
Just imagine all the different ways you could spend that kind of money.
There are cash prizes every week for either match 3 or lucky dip winners.
Now that the new building is started they really need your support to help them refurbish and develop the old building so that they have a lovely home for our older people here in Ballymote that need respite or long term care.
Be in with a chance to win the jackpot and most importantly you are contributing to thework and the completion of the fantastic new home.
