Ladies training this Thursday

FORMER Irish Internatio­nal Clare Wall and her coaching staff are all set to revive the senior women’s rugby team in Sligo.

Rugby is the fastest growing women’s sport in Ireland and Sligo RFC has been building girls rugby from the ground up, with teams from U12 - U18.

Training for the senior women’s team starts this Thursday 30 th August at 6.30pm. No previous experience necessary. Contact Jean on 0872389515 for further details.

Sligo RFC also aims to have teams at U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 levels this season. Girls rugby will be run by Gabriel Gormley (087 7636168). Training for U14, U16 and U18 girls will start on Monday 10 th September at 6.45pm. Details of all training times will be published on the website and Facebook page.

Youth training started last weekend and any players wishing to play with Sligo RFC this sea- son, should contact the relevant coach below for further details.
