Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others have organised a table quiz in the Blue Devon on Saturday, September 8, at 9.30 p.m. Prizes galore. Your support would be very much appreciated.
NEW SELF DEFENCE CLASS
Bernard Leddy will run self-defence course from September 18, 7 p.m. till 8.30 p.m. at the Depot Dromahair. To register just turn up on the first night. The course is six weeks long and will run every Tuesday night and costs €55.
DEFIBRILLATOR GROUP
Dromahair Defibrillator group will hold their annual fun run/walk on September 9 This is a very important fundraiser, we have to raise funds for the maintenance of our four units. Your support is paramount to maintain each unit. Many thanks in advance.

Dromahair Library summer Stars Reading is continuing. We are delighted to have obtained NEW BOOKS for inclusion in the summer Stars Programme and not forgetting the adults. AFTERSCHOOL
Dromahair Afterschool are now enrolling for September 2018. They provide afterschool services from two 6 p.m. daily for junior infants to sixth class. If you are interested, please call 087 1686591 for enrolment forms.
The Depot Office is open Monday to Friday morning from 9.45 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Close at 1 p.m. on Fridays. We offer a full range of office services. Photocopying, typing, printing, laminating and internet access. All services available at very reasonable rates.

The Manor team defeated their Leinster rivals Carlow, on a final score line four – three, after the sides finished level at the end of normal time. It was a thrilling game and was played at a fast pace throughout.
It was the first time since the National Community Games were established in 1967 that the national finals were held in Limerick at the excellent university of Limerick sports’ facilities.
The members of the Manorhamilton Area under-15 boy’s soccer National Community Games gold medal winning team were Tarach Ó’Snodaigh, Patrick Montgomery, Barry McNulty, Gabriel Gilbride, Mathew Connolly, Diarmuid Giblin Eanna Clancy and Shaun Sheridan. The team managers were Stuart Gilbride and Adam Connolly.
CHARITIES PRESENTATIONS
A cheque for €5,618.28 each was presented by the North West Vintage and Heritage Club to two local charities, namely the North West MS Therapy Centre Sligo and Cancer Care West Galway, at a well attended function in the Bee Park Community Centre on Tuesday night, August 21.
Vincent Hunt, who is the North West MS Therapy Centre Essential Seconds Manager, accepted the cheque on behalf of the MS Centre while Cancer Care West Regional Fundraiser, Gráinne McGettigan accepted the cheque on behalf of Cancer Care West.
North West Vintage and Heritage Club chairperson, Tommy Flynn welcomed Vincent and Gráinne to the club’s charities presentation function. Mr Flynn paid tributes to and thanked all the members of the club, who were involved in raising a total of €11,236.56 for this year’s chosen charities.
He also expressed the club’s heartfelt gratitude to all members of the public who contributed generously to the excellent sum of €11,236.56 that was raised for the MS Therapy and Cancer West. In their responses both Mr Hunt and Ms McGettigan thanked the club for their excellent donations.
EDUCATION EVENING
North Connaught College Tubbercurry is hosting its open evening on Monday, September 3, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) and Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS) courses commencing this September.
School leavers and adults are all welcome. Teachers, Guidance Counsellor, Student Support Tutor and current students will be available to deal with any queries or questions.
There will be taster sessions in some of the various courses e.g. Beauty Therapy, IT/Business, childcare, Nursing and Healthcare. RECREATIONAL ART
A 10-week series of recreational art sessions will commence in the New Ballagh Centre Rossinver on Monday, September 10, and run on each Monday thereaf- ter from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
