Our deepest condolence­s to the Higgins family Derrygola, on the loss of Michael Snr’s brother in law Paddy Keegan, Ballaghade­rreen and to the Gorman family, Cloonshanb­ally, Culfadda on the loss of Elizabeth. Our thoughts are with both families at this difficult time

RE OPENING OF SCHOOLS

Best of luck to all the children starting Primary school in both Keash and Culfadda this Thursday. I understand that there are 10 children starting in Keash and 9 in Culfadda (but am very much open to correction!). Every blessing to them in their first steps into the big bad world!

FR. FARRELL CAWLEY

Thank you to Fr. Farrell Cawley for stepping in during the month of August saying mass in both Keash and Culfadda at the weekends. Fr. Cawleys kindness and God like presence radiates. The people of Keash and Culfadda thank him sincerely.

Call into our new Visitor Centre at the Foxes Den, Keash. Guided trips to the Caves of Keash and Carrowkeel Passage Tombs available.

Please remember that Tax deadlines are looming. Unregister­ed Rights of WayPlease remember that if you have a Right of Way and this Right of Way is not registered by November 2021, difficulti­es may present in utilising such Right of Way thereafter.

Please remember that we have a post box beside the Hall in Keash, to facilitate people with postage of outgoing mail.

KEASH SCHOOL

Well done to all involved in works around Keash National School. The works and in particular new Tarmacadam make a massive improvemen­t to the School and were badly needed.
