Sligo Park’s wedding showcase

-

THE newly-refurbished Sligo Park Hotel is hosting a wedding showcase on September 9 th with couples getting a first sneak preview of its brand-new luxury look for weddings.

The hotel will open the doors to the Sligo Park Suite and the Mespil Suite from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, September 9 th.

Visitors to the wedding showcase will have the wonderful opportunity to view the beautifully refurbished hotel, meet with the experienced and dedicated wedding team, and experience everything the hotel has to offer for a fairytale wedding.

The Sligo Park Suite will be fully dressed for a wedding and the Mespil Suite —which usually caters for smaller weddings— will be set up for a civil ceremony.

The Sligo Park Suite has floor-to-ceiling windows allowing natural light to flood into the airy, spacious room.

The suite is designed to cater for up to 350 guests and, together with the skills of the hotel’s experienced chefs, creates the perfect setting for the bride and groom’s special day.

For a smaller, more intimate wedding reception, the Mespil Suite caters comfortably for up to 60 guests. The hotel will also reveal the first images of the Sligo Park Suite’s new look.

The suite is being refurbished in early 2019 – just in time for all those spring and summer weddings. Image and mood boards will be set up on display, so visitors can see a preview of what the suite will look like when it is completed.

Refreshments and light canapés will be served on the day and visitors can sample hot dishes created by the hotel’s AA Rosette-winning chefs.

The Sligo Park Hotel Wedding Venue is set in private and intimate landscaped gardens which provide a spectacular backdrop for wedding photography.

Sligo Park Hotel’s wedding and events coordinator Margaret Finnegan said: “We are delighted to be hosting this wedding showcase where we can show couples what they can expect for their special day.

“We are looking forward to welcoming all the brides and grooms-to-be on the day, showing them a preview of the Sligo Park Suite’s new look, and everything the hotel has to offer.”

Sligo Park Hotel was recently recognised as one of the best wedding venues in Connacht at the Wedding Journal Reader Awards 2018.
