SPECIAL MEMORIAL RUN
A special memorial run, in memory of the late James Feely, Tubbertelly, will take place next Sunday, September 16, at 12.30 p.m. The event base is St Nathy’s Hall Mullinabreena and all tractors, bikes and vintage cars are welcome. TALENT SEARCH
Anyone interested in participating in the Phoenix Players’ forthcoming production of the Sound of music is invited to come along to an open evening in St Brigid’s Hall on Thursday, September 13, at 8.30 p.m. Actors, singers, dancers and backstage crew are needed. Auditions for children’s parts will be held at a later date.
NATIONAL LOTTERY AWARD
Congratulations to Coolaney-Mullinabreena GAA Club, who received a Regional National Lottery Good Causes 2018 award for Sport recently. This follows the Sligo County award. The award is in recognition of the development work at Nace O’Dowd Park. The club now goes on to the national finals in November in Dublin. Well done and good luck.

After almost seven months of work on the project, over 2000 photos have now been collected. WALKING/RUNNING TRACK
The newly completed walking/ running track at Nace O’Dowd Park is proving a real success with many folk using it on a daily basis. It is contributing hugely to the health and well-being of our community in a real and sustainable way. The club is currently investigating means to fund the installation of lighting for the track.
