Ballymote Bridge Club will resume play on Monday, September 17, at 7.30 p.m. in the Pastoral Centre.

LADYBIRDS

Ballymote Ladybirds will resume on Monday, September 17, at 6.15 p.m. in the Pastoral Centre. Girls aged five to seven years welcome.

HOSPICE COFFEE

Ballymote North West Hospice Support Group will be hosting their annual tea or coffee and cake sale morning on Friday, September 21, on the Top of the Rock Ballymote and as in former years we are looking for all our wonderful Bakers to get their baking trays and tins out and provide us with a flourish of all sorts of confection­ery for this great occasion.

So come on all Bakers and get baking as Hospice Coffee/Tea morning is very near. Remember every euro counts so please help by baking a cake or supporting us on the day to maintain our excellent Hospice Centre and Services locally.

COLEMAN MUSIC CENTRE

Celtic Tenor Paul Byrom will perform in the Coleman Music Centre, Gurteen on September 22 at 8.30 p.m. His talent as a singer has taken him far and wide, and some of the many highlights include performing for dignitarie­s such as Former Irish president’s Mary McAleese and Mary Robinson and most recently for United States president, Barack Obama. On Saturday, October 28, at 8.30 p.m. Men Of the West – Pat Coyne, Stephen Doherty and David Doocey perform in the Coleman Music Centre, Gurteen. Men Of the West – As the names suggests, this trio hail from the west. Pat Coyne from Maam valley in Connemara, is a driving force on guitar and renowned for his powerful songs, singing a mix of ballads and songs from across the Atlantic.
