Cake sale on Friday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in McNulty’s Bar Enniscrone. If anyone would like to donate some cakes etc please drop them into the family resource centre Enniscrone. A raffle will be held also on the day. Your support as always will be great and fully appreciate­d.

THE SEASIDE CRAFTERS

Continue to meet on Thursday afternoons from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Tourist Informatio­n Office. New members are welcome.

FUN BEAT THE INTRO QUIZ

Takes place every Friday night in Sheridan’s bar, Kilglass, at 9 p.m. Entry fee is only €2 with the proceeds going to Kilglass Community Council Cardens Developmen­t Fund. Please support.

Easkey Monster bingo will be held in the Diamond Coast Hotel Enniscrone on Sunday, October 21, at 3 p.m. €3,800 in prizes.

ENNISCRONE WALKING CLUB

Walk for October 20 is Carrowteig­ue, level is moderate; terrain is track and trail, time 3-4hours.

ENNISCRONE SOCIAL BRIDGE CLUB

Enniscrone Social Bridge Club takes place at the Diamond Coast Hotel every Wednesday night commencing at 7.30 p.m.

BLOTTO DRAW

Congratula­tions to Caroline, John Paul, Lauren, Chloe and Nicole Carden winners of the €5,600 jackpot. Numbers drawn were 4, 5 and seven. €25 winners were Conor Wall, Padraic Laing, Cathy Fox, and Kieran Conway. Jackpot for the next draw on Saturday, October 13, is €2,000 and will take place in Hopkins Bar, Kilglass.

ENNISCRONE LIBRARY BOOK CLUB

The Enniscrone Library book club takes place on the first Thursday of every month from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. New members are always welcome. Opening Hours – Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

KILGLASS/CULLEENS COMMUNITY ALERT AREA.

This year’s Christmas party for the senior citizens in our community is being held on Sunday, December 9, in the Ocean Sands Hotel. WORKSHOP FOR VOLUNTARY AND LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS.

Working with volunteers can present certain challenges. It is human nature to want to put if off in the hope that it will sort itself out. Addressing difficulti­es as early as possible will help to avoid an escalation that will demand more of your valuable time. This workshop will give you the skills and confidence to face these situations. This workshop is taking place in partnershi­p with West Sligo Family Resource Centre Ltd Enniscrone. Tuesday, October 23, from 10 a.m. 1.15 p.m. Ocean Sands Hotel Enniscrone the cost of this workshop is €10 for Small organisati­ons/Local Community groups and €15 for Nationally Affiliated groups/Larger Groups.
