KILLENUMME­RY 5K

Killenumme­ry Women’s Group are delighted to host their annual 5k fun run/walk on Sunday, November 4, at 2 p.m. This year’s proceeds will go to Temple Street Children’s hospital. Registrati­on from 1 p.m. in Killenumme­ry Hall – Adults €10, Students (1518) €3. Children are free but must be accompanie­d by an adult. There will be beautiful refreshmen­ts and a number of spot prizes in hall after race. Please support.

GARDA COMMUNITY INFO

Garda Community Informatio­n Centre is open in the Depot, Back Line, Dromahair on Mondays from two 4 p.m. This service will continue each monday General Garda Services and informatio­n will be provided. This is a pilot scheme and its’ success depends on the support of the public. Please use the service when it is made available locally.

GET IRELAND WALKING

Leitrim Sports Partnershi­p initiative, a new walking group is meeting on Tuesdays at 7.30 outside the Depot, Backline, Dromahair. This is a 4k walk in the lit up areas. Tips on walking and good posture. There is no charge. Con- tact 9650498 for further informatio­n.

TEAMHOPE SHOEBOX APPEAL

Christmas Shoebox appeal time. Leaflets are available in local shops. Boxes can be left into Gala Dromahair and in Manor Fashion; Caz Cards; Bank of Ireland, and Our lady’s Hospital, Manorhamil­ton.
