Card games take place in Ballinacarrow Community Centre every Thursday night at 9 p.m.

OWENMORE GAELS GFC

The AGM of Owenmore Gaels GFC will take place on Sunday, November 25, at 5 p.m. in the clubhouse at Connolly Park. Current members and anybody wishing to become a member is welcome to attend.

Owenmore Clubs club are hosting a Drugs Awareness Evening in the Clayton Hotel, Sligo, on Thursday, November 22. Special guest on the night will be Philly McMahon, six time all-Ireland winner. This is a ticket only event as spaces are limited. Tickets are available free to everybody living in the Owenmore Gaels catchment area, members and non-members, Ballinacarrow, Collooney, Ballisodare and surrounding catchment and tickets will be distributed in our clubhouse on Friday and Saturday, November 9, and 10. It is hoped as many young people and their parents will attend to hear this important message. After these dates any available tickets will be distributed to the general public.

BE SAFE, BE SEEN

As the time changes and the evenings get darker, road users are asked to light up, be safe, be seen.

ACCESS BUS

The Tubbercurry Access Bus travels to and from Sligo every Wednesday morning picking up people at their place of residence, travelling via Mullinabreena, Ballinacarrow, Coolaney etc. It arrives at Tesco car park in Sligo at approximately 11 a.m. and departs from the car park again at 1.30 p.m. This is a great service that allows you avail of your travel pass, to book a seat all you have to do is call Eileen at 071 9185614.

traditional music sessions take place in Durkins Ballinacarrow every Friday night, visiting musicians welcome.
