SIMILAR numbers of stock presented for sale this week with both prices and trade similar to last week. Large numbers of heifers on offer with a good clearance reported. In the weanlings rings heifers calves were a stronger trade this week, with better quality lots on offer while the top quality bull calves remain a very strong trade while the lesser quality plainer type lots were harder sold. Breeding stock and the cull cows reported good clearances also.

Cows with calves at foot made from €1050 to €1940 per head. Springer cows made from €750 to €1550 Calves/Runners : Big numbers presented again this week with lots making from €300 to €795 for continental lots.

Prices were improved this week with good demand for the quality you stock on offer.
