CAREERS EVENING

Boyle GAA are planning a Careers Evening on Friday, November 9, at 8.30 p.m. in the GAA Club House. This is a new initiative offering young players and their friends in the community an opportunity to hear about college life and apprenticeships and the trials and tribulations of further education and training. Locals, who have tread the paths will be there to answer any questions, and we hope the evening will inform, inspire and give the opportunity to young people to hear more about further education and training-the varied routes/ colleges chosen/challenges/and career options that are available to them.

Boyle GAA invite all 15- to 18-year-olds and their parents (if they wish) to come along and hear the short presentations from a variety of professional and skilled young people who have chosen different career paths. The unknown for many – can bring excitement – but for others fear, thus hearing about college, apprenticeships and opportunities from those that have pursued these routes, will encourage young people to aspire to achieve their full potential in their chose career/interests.

The evening will commence at 8.30 p.m. and will be informal while informative. We welcome all young people GAA and non-GAA members alike. Please spread the word and mark your diary for Friday, November 9, at 8.30 p.m.
