NEW CD LAUNCH
Michael Golding has released a new sixteen track CD ‘ Back to Castleblakeney’ with all proceeds going to the charity Cystic Fibrosis Galway Hospital Project. Launch of the CD will take place in the Corner House on Sunday, December 16, at 6 p.m. It is now available for sale in local business premises in Ballymote, The Record Shop, Sligo, Coleman Music Centre, Gurteen. Your support is much appreciated.
WW1 EXHIBITION
The launch of the WW1 Exhibition centered on the men of Ballymote, who died during the war will take place on Wednesday, November 14, at 7.30 p.m. in Ballymote Community Library. The launch will include a talk from local historian and Co Sligo WW1 expert Simone Hickey. Light refreshments will be served.
25 CARD DRIVES
25 card drives have started on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. and will continue till Christmas. Five single hands trump to board. Five euro entry. Two euro re entry. Finals start at 8 p.m. Doddy’s Bar November 11, Corner House November 18, Hayden’s Bar November 25. December dates will be published later.
