Christmas Floral workshops - Thur. 6th and 13th Dec. 2018, 8pm - 10pm. Fully booked.

Self-care workshop - Celebratin­g the wonders of life - Sun. 16/12/18 at The Benwiskin Centre from 11am - 3pm (please arrive by 10.30am). Treat yourself to a day of calm and quiet, peace and reflection. This workshop is an ideal opportunit­y to slow down and take time out for ourselves to recognise the wonders of life inside and around us. Through the techniques of mindful breathing, poetry, sitting meditation, slow walking meditation and deep relaxation we can renew this sense of wonder that is always available to us. Cost €50. To book, contact Ted Kelly on 087 6884201. Please bring mats, cushions, blankets and a light lunch. Tea/ coffee will be provided.

Extension and alteration­s at The Benwiskin Centre - Work is due to commence shortly at The Benwiskin Centre. In light of this, there will be no Christmas Fair this year. Sorry for any disappoint­ment caused. Details about classes or activities for early 2019 will be posted on our website and Facebook page etc. in the coming weeks. Some accommodat­ion will be available but on a limited scale for the next few months. amenity for the whole of Dromahair, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the new facility when it is completed.

 ??  ?? A huge congratula­tions is extended to Leona Mc Sharry on being awarded third place at this years Engineerin­g Technology Teachers Associatio­n awards. The award recognises the hard work and dedication required to produce a Higher Level Project for Leaving Certificat­e Engineerin­g with Leona’s ranked third out of over 4500 projects. Troy Jackson was also awarded in the top ten Ordinary Level projects. Leona is pictured with Mr. Ronan McBrearty, chairman of the ETTA. This award continues the strong history of award winning Engineerin­g projects, and is the third national award in the last 4 years.
