SANTA’S VISIT
Leckaun NS Christmas party organised by the parents’ association will take place this Sunday, December 16, at 3 p.m. Anyone wishing to come along please contact Fidelma Loughlin or Angela McLoughlin, for more details. The annual Leckaun N.S Christmas Draw with also take place on the day with lots of spot prizes from local businesses on offer. Children from the school will be selling their lines over the coming weeks. Lines are €2 each and your support is greatly appreciated.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Leckaun National School pre- sents a Christmas Concert, ‘One Bright Star’, in Newtownmanor Hall next Tuesday, December 18, at 7 p.m. There will be a voluntary contribution at the door on the night. All family, friends, past pupils and members of the wider community are welcome.
LOCAL LINK
On Friday evenings and Sunday evenings there is a local link transport service available, to enable individuals to go out and socialise. On Friday evenings, the bus travels from Newtownmanor to Dromahair, via Calry; out at 9 p.m. returning at 12.30 a.m. On Sunday evenings, the bus travels from Newtownmanor to Sligo, via Calry; out at 9 p.m. returning at 12.30 a.m. A return journey costs €8. 25 CARD GAME
The Progressive 25 Card Game (s) continue in Newtownmanor Hall on Friday (s) at 9 p.m. All card players are welcome and we look forward to new members coming along. There will not be a Card Night on Friday, December 28; otherwise cards on Friday (s) as usual.
PILATES

SET DANCING CLASSES
Unfortunately, owing to very limited interest/demand the set dancing classes in the Manor Hall have now ceased.
HALL BOOKINGS
Newtownmanor Hall is available for booking, by adult groups, wishing to organise an event or training. Hall costs are €15 per hour.
