FUNDRAISER THANKS

Nigel Durkin, a member of the Liverpool Supporters Club, in Sligo wishes to thank everyone who recently bought tickets from him for a fundraisin­g draw for the Seán Cox fund. OWENMORE GAELS AGM

The AGM of Owenmore Gaels took place last Sunday with a number of new people taking up roles within the club, this is a very healthy sign as clubs constantly need new people with new ideas. If you were unable to make this meeting but would still like to be involved in some capacity please contact a member of the club.

Card games take place in Ballinacar­row Community Centre every Thursday night at 9 p.m. at 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 15.

CD LAUNCH

The launch of Michael Golding’s new CD will take place in the Corner House on Sunday, December 16, at 6 p.m. Music by Johnny Fingers McHugh and Special Guests local Trad Group. All proceeds from the CD going to the charity Cystic Fibrosis Galway Hospital Project.

25 CARD DRIVES

The annual Christmas Fayre at the Garden Centre, Gallagher House, Tubbercurr­y is taking place on Sunday, December 16, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a large selection of Christmas arrangemen­ts and crafts available. Come along and buy all your Christmas gifts. Raffle will take place on the day and refreshmen­ts will be served.
