DECEMBER SOCIAL DANCE

The December Social Dance in the community centre Skreen will take place on Saturday, December 29, music will be provided by the Duets. Dancing from 10 p.m. Everyone welcome.

DRAMA GROUP PRODUCTION

The Skreen-Dromard Drama Group will stage their production of ‘A Fish Out of Water’ in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on January 11, 12 and 13. This hilarious comedy will also be staged in St Bridget’s Hall Tubbercurry on February 2 and in the Hawks Well Theatre, Sligo on February 9 Tickets for the Hawks Well Theatre would make an ideal Christmas present and can be got from 087 6806905 or any cast member.

BABY JOY

Congratulations to Claudia (Cawley) and Paul Finnerty, Carrowconnor, Dromard on the birth of their baby boy who was born on August 26 and baptised on December 8.

CIVIC RECEPTION

Congratulations to Lauren Cadden, Carrowconnor, Dromard on her recent signing of the Sligo County Council Visitor’s Book at a Civic Reception in the County Hall hosted by Mayor Rosaleen O’Grady. This reception was to mark Lauren’s achievement of Irish Record Holder and National Juvenile Champion in the 100m and 200m.
